The archaeological research at Jebel Qurma is carried out under the auspices of the Faculty of Archaeology of Leiden University, The Netherlands, under the leadership of Professor Peter Akkermans . Many institutions and persons have contributed to the success of this extensive archaeological project in Jordan.

The project takes place under the supervision of the Department of Antiquities (DoA) in Amman. We are very grateful to the Department and its staff for their continual assistance and encouragement in both the preparation and realisation of the Jebel Qurma Archaeological Landscape Project.
